Arts Week has been a lot of fun in Red Class this week. We all studied the picture "Magic Fish" by Paul Klee and were inspired to paint some fabulous wax and wash pictures of fish. We also all drew sea creatures to be displayed as a whole year group (More) | |
We've had an energetic week in Red class this week as we prepared for and participated in our fantastic Sports Day. The photos below show us practising all the races on the playground and then racing in our teams in front of all the parents on Friday (More) | |
Well! What a fantastic day! We made flags, crowns, bookmarks, wedding invitations, sandwiches and cakes! All in honour of William and Kate. We then joined the Year 1 party and had great fun parading our crowns, playing games and eating our party food (More) | |

On Friday we were really busy getting ready to celebrate Mother's Day. We all studied and drew daffodils for our Mums and we also wrote about all the lovely things our Mums do for us (making chocolate crispie cakes ranked high!). Many of the children (More) | |
Our new topic is Parks and Gardens and we are doing lots of exciting activities related to this theme. We have already visited the park and studied minibeasts, and next we will be feeding the birds and planting seeds. Luckily the weather has been fab (More) | |
